The Little Big Company - Sailboat Dessert Table for A Christening

Author: Louisa Little Big Company   Date Posted:7 April 2014

What's life without a sweet celebration? With a love for all things sweet, homemade and stylish, My Sweet Celebration specialises in gourmet dessert tables and party styling. My Sweet Celebration'sdessert tables mix good old-fashioned homemade sweets with a touch of modern day style personalised to suit your special celebration.

This sailboat dessert table was for a handsome baby boy's christening. The father's family are keen fisherman and the celebration was held at the Yacht Club so the theme suited perfectly. The colour palette was blue, white and a little beige. The amazing two tier ruffled cake, stand up sailboat biscuits and sailboat cake pops were made by Mel at  Paper and String. The beautiful backdrop was designed by Nicole from  Pretty and Print. She tied in the font of the invitation and sailboat theme with elegant pattern through the bottom. The colours match the nautical decor so well. The photography is by Matthew Gianoulis from  Matthew Gianoulis Photography. The remainder of the desserts were made with love by  My Sweet Celebration and included profiteroles, crostoli, anchor sugar cookies, macadamia macarons and blueberry macarons. There was also plenty of lollies including some delicious raspberry bon bons and shimmer gumballs.
